What this means

Game Scratch Index participates in affiliate marketing programs. When you click certain links on our site and complete a qualifying action — such as ordering a lottery ticket through a courier service or signing up for tax preparation software — we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. Prices and terms for any product or service you access through an affiliate link are set entirely by that third-party company. You pay exactly what you would pay by visiting that company directly.

What we link to

Lottery courier services (Jackpot.com, Jackpocket) — licensed services that let you order official state lottery tickets, including scratch-offs in supported states, without travelling to a retailer. Tax preparation software (H&R Block, TurboTax, TaxAct) — for players who want help filing gambling income and itemizing documented losses on Schedule A. Responsible gambling tools (Gamban and similar) — self-exclusion and spending-control software. We do not accept commission incentives that could compromise our presentation of these resources.

Our editorial independence policy

GSI's game rankings, Value Index scores, prize data, and odds calculations are never influenced by affiliate relationships. We do not accept payment from state lotteries, ticket printers, or any party to rank specific games or states more favourably. Affiliate links appear only in clearly labelled sections — never disguised as editorial content. If you believe any data on GSI appears commercially influenced, flag it and we will respond within 24 hours.

State and courier service availability

Lottery courier services are not available in all states, and availability changes as state regulations evolve. We display only currently available services for your selected state and flag any service operating under active regulatory review. Courier services charge their own deposit and transaction fees (typically 7–15%) on top of ticket price. GSI receives no portion of these fees beyond standard affiliate commission paid by the provider.

Tax software disclosure

Links to tax preparation services are informational. GSI is not a tax advisor, CPA, or financial advisor. We do not receive compensation based on what you owe or how you file — commissions are flat referral fees paid by the software company regardless of your tax outcome. Always consult a licensed CPA before claiming gambling deductions.
